Folk It are an exciting five piece ceilidh band based in and around the Edinburgh area. Largely playing traditional Scottish and Irish tunes, the band also has more modern influences.

All members are students at the University of Edinburgh, and the band often plays for the University's many societies (discount available - just mention which society). The band consists of two fiddle players, Sarah Richardson and Jess Midgley-Smith, whistle and flute player Sheena Amos, with accompaniment from Mike Starkey, guitar, and Ewan Hemingway on keyboards.

Although the band primarily performs for ceilidhs, Folk It are also available for performance sets, weddings, or any simply just for background music. Why not come along and see us at one of our upcoming gigs.
